Hi everybody!
I hope that you all have a productive and successful week so far.
With all the stress around the state exam behind my back I can happily say that it’s official – I am an English major! I completed (successfully) my Bachelor degree in English and American Studies at Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski last month and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I believe that this is one of my main life accomplishments so far and all of my colleagues at the university can testify that it was everything but easy. Such a huge accomplishment had to be celebrated with a nice party so we had our prom! Here is what I wore, how I styled my dress, and what makeup look and hairdo I decided to finish my outfit off.

Since I did not have the chance to attend my high-school graduation party, I was extremely excited to go to my ‘university’ prom. However, I did not want to overdo it; on the contrary, I want to still feel good about myself and my outfit choice when one day I look back at my pictures. So, I decided to wear a simple, yet classy and elegant, evening dress that I purchased a long time ago from Reserved. The very gentle turquoise color and the length (just above the knee) of the dress are perfect for the summer season. It is fitted in at the waist giving an elegant silhouette (so flattering for the figure) and the turquoise shade is so feminine.
I paired it with me Reserved pointy flat ballerina shoes – I adore flat shoes and I think that when they are with pointy toes they elevate the look so much that you actually do not need high heels. And everybody who knows me can confirm that I will do everything I can in order to avoid wearing high heels. The flats are in this nude color that goes equally well with almost everything in my wardrobe including my nude David Jones clutch bag. This bag has been my bag-goals for so long! It is really small but when you open it you are surprised by how much you can actually fit in it.
Speaking of elevating my look, I also decided to wear delicate jewelry and for this reason I wore only my silver bracelet that I received as a gift from my boyfriend. I think this delicate bracelet goes really well with my nude-painted nails and the general feeling of my outfit.
In terms of my makeup and hairdo, nothing comes as a surprise. I love natural makeup looks so the only things you could see on my face were a perfect naturally-looking base (with some highlighter and bronzer that defined my look), eyeshadow in warm earthy tones, and natural rosy lipstick. My hair was down and, as it was extremely hot that day, I decided to put the hair out of my face by making two very simple braids.

Generally, my handsome boyfriend was the finishing touches that made my look and my evening so perfect! Nothing would be complete in my life without him. Thank you, my love, for sharing this moment with me!
See you soon.
Love,
Chrisy
