Home Is Where Your Heart Is

There are never two exactly the same days out of the 365/366 days in a year. Some days are really exciting and make you extremely happy; some are productive and you feel content at the end; some are tiresome and you cannot find the motivation to do simple things as doing the dishes; some are, unfortunately, sad and you wish you would never have to re-live them. No matter what your day has been, each day is special in its own way and is important for your personal development and fulfillment. And no matter what has happened to me during a day, I cannot wait to come home and tell my boyfriend all about it.

Some days are a bit more special than the others and you get to remember them as time passes by. Today is one of the most special days for me – 18 November. And it is not because something extraordinary has happened personally to me – I have not visited an exciting place or met an interesting person.

November 18th is the most special day for me because the most special person in my life was born on this day 27 years ago. This is the love of my life, the person that has been next to me for the past 8 years and the one with whom I want to spend the rest of my life.

My boyfriend, Kaloyan, is the epitome of my idea for home. He brings warmth, calmness and security to me – all the things you can find in a happy home. The life we are building together is more incredible than anything I could have ever imagined. Through all the laughter, tears, triumphs, and challenges, you are my unconditional rock. You are the reason for EVERYTHING good in my life.

For the many days we have spent together, we have had all kinds of days – some of them have been hard, most of them have been amazing but all of them have made me a better person. No matter what our life brings us, you have always been by my side showing me how valuable are the little things. Like the cuddles on the sofa in the evenings, or bringing me a glass of water while I am studying, or letting me have that afternoon nap even though you know that I would be a bit of a handful after I get up.

Thank you for being my home. I hope I make you as happy as you make me.

I love you! I cannot wait to be your wife.

Happy Birthday!
