Thematic Month: March 2019

Hello lovelies!

I hope you had an amazing start to the year 🙂

We are already two months into 2019 which means that many of us have already forgotten our New Year’s resolutions, or have changed them completely after the New Year’s enthusiasm and spark has given way to the more mundane everyday routines. Then, there are those of us who have been persistent enough to stick to their initial plan and make consistent small steps towards their annual goals.

To be honest, I am a bit in between. I made a quick reevaluation of my goals for 2019 at the beginning of March and have realized that I am already half way through some of the things I want to accomplish this year but a bit behind on others. This, of course, is completely understandable given the fact that priorities change with time and you cannot focus on every goal equally every month.

One of the goals that I temporarily put on hold at the beginning of the year is blogging. I was a bit confused as to where I want my blog to go and what would its main niche be. I have experienced this “writer’s block” already a few times over my 9 years of blogging and I have learnt that the best way to find my direction again is to step back for a while and think carefully of what sparkles my passion for blogging.

I am very happy that I took those two months away from blogging as this gave me the opportunity to clarify some things and make a more straightforward vision of how I want my blog to develop. I reevaluated the topics I am mostly passionate about and drew up the conclusion that quality is way more important than quantity. At least, for me. I am not changing much on the blog and you can still read my articles on fashion and beauty, lifestyle and travels, and a bit of my favourite books in between. I will still share my personal experiences and thoughts on different matters that are important for me. The new thing that I would love to do more on the blog is research. I want to write articles that are carefully researched and provide a wider perspective on the topics I am interested in. I want to give you valuable insights and better reasons to choose this or that product.

I hope that I will have the chance to write more detailed posts in the coming months and that you will be interested in them and stick around. For the time being, the topic for March 2019 is:

Your Only Limit is You!

As March is largely regarded as the Month of Women (what a joke – of course, every month is the month of women!), I decided to share with you all the valuable lessons that I learnt from the strong independent women that surround me – both in the good and in the hard times. All the things that those women inspired me to believe in. The way they shaped my way of thinking and how they influenced my life choices. How they taught me that every little step towards your goals matters and that nothing or nobody can stop you from pursuing your dreams. I am the person today mainly because of the powerful female role models that I had not only while I was growing up but also today when I am a grown-up woman myself who is capable of making hard life decisions.

In the month of women, I want to spread girl love as much as possible. For me, the support of women around me has always been pivotal in making me the person I am today so I want to give them a big shout out and mark their valuable insights.

Who is your biggest female role model? Let me know in the comments!

Love,

Chrisy
